Hello, my name is Nafissatou. I come from a Muslim family. I was born on September 16, 2013. I live with my parents and my three siblings. Neither one of my parents has a regular job, but we have a family farm where we try to grow the food that we eat. Sometimes it is difficult to grow enough for the whole year. We have a small home without running water or electricity. The closest well is about half a kilometer away. I have to walk about a kilometer and a half to get to school each morning. Then I walk that same distance home in the afternoons. This year (2021-22), I am in the third grade. I like art class the best. After I get home from school, I help my mother with the chores around the house and study. When those are finished, I like to play with blocks and build things. When I am all grown up, I would like to become a nurse.
