Hello, my name is Rachid. I was born on May 6, 2007. I am a Muslim. I live with my mother, father, and my three brothers. My parents are farmers. They do not have a regularly paying job, but they do what they can to grow the crops that they will eat throughout the year. We have a small courtyard that is made up of many people. There are sixteen people that live with us in our courtyard. We don’t have any running water or electricity. The closest well is about half a kilometer away. I walk about two kilometers to get to school each day because my family does not have a bike that I can use to get there. This year (2021-22), I am in 3rd grade. History is my favorite subject. I would like to teach it one day.
