Hello, my name is Salif Nanema. I come from a Muslim family. I was born in 2010. I live with my parents and my five siblings. We do not have any running water in our home and the closest well is about a kilometer away. We have a small farm where our family tries to grow the food that we will eat throughout the year. I walk about two kilometers to get to school each day. This year (2022-23), I am in the 7th grade. I like school a lot. This year has been an adjustment because it is my first year in secondary school, but I really like English class. After school, I like to play soccer with my friends or study my lessons. When I’m all grown up, I want to become a nurse so I can help people.
