Hello, my name is Steve. I come from a Catholic family. I was born on September 24, 2015. I live with my parents in a small home that doesn’t have any running water. Our well is about a kilometer away. We have a small solar panel that gives us a little bit of electricity. Neither one of my parents has a regular job, but we have a small farm where we try to grow our food. Each morning, I walk about three kilometers to get to school. This year (2021-22), I am in first grade. I am learning a lot in school, but reading is my favorite subject. After school, I like to play with my friends, but I have to do some chores like washing my school uniform. When I grow up, I would like to become a doctor.
