The work in Burkina Faso also has several special programs:

Widows Basket: This local outreach is to widows in the area that have no income and often, no hope. Essential items are furnished to help them in there great need. Baby Formula: The probability of dying before the age of 5 is a staggering 204 per 1000 live births in Burkina Faso. One way Sheltering Wings is battling this is by providing nutritious baby formula to local new mothers. Weaving: With no source of income, many women are left destitute. The Weaving Program is an effort to teach practical skills to help women support themselves. Agriculture and Farming: In Yako, Burkina Faso, subsistence farming is a way of life. You can help by donating funds that will be used to buy fertilizer, farm animals (chickens, goats, donkeys) and other necessities.
