Abigail was born on November 2, 2014, in one of the poorest countries in West Africa. Her young life has already been marked by loss and hardship. Her father passed away in 2018, leaving her mother to care for the family on her own.

To provide for her daughters, Abigail’s mother weaves traditional fabric. Despite her hard work, she struggles to earn enough to consistently put food on the table. Abigail has a younger sister who is currently in the third grade. More than anything, their mother longs to give her daughters the opportunities that an education can provide.

Abigail is enrolled in school and is in the sixth grade during the 2025–2026 school year. She loves going to school and understands the sacrifices her mother makes so she can continue her education. Abigail is grateful for this opportunity and is determined to make the most of it.
