Aicha was born on June 7, 2014.  Life has not been kind to her but she is persevering in school and this year (2024 - 2025) she is in the 4th grade.

Aicha’s father died in a motorcycle accident on March 12, 2024.  At this time her mother was just 2 months pregnant with twins.  Unfortunately, the twins did not survive and her mother died in November ’24 with complications from the birth.

Aicha is the oldest of three girls who are now being cared for by their paternal grandmother who suffers from diabetes.  Grandmother sells peanuts outside of her courtyard which brings in a small daily income.  At the time of this writing, Aicha’s younger sisters are 9 years old and 4 years old.
