Hello, my name is Aichatou.  I come from a Muslim family.  I live with my mother and my four brothers and sisters.  My mother works as a seamstress and has a small shop where she takes work making clothes for other people.  We also have a small family farm where we try to grow the food that we eat throughout the year.

I walk about five kilometers each way to get to school.  I could really use a bike to help me get their easier!  Science and Geography classes are my favorite! After school, I study my lessons. I also have to do my chores which include washing dishes or going into town to buy supplies to make dinner. When I’m all grown up, I want to become a teacher!
