Alassane 2603MNIAN22
Alassane was born in 2013 in a small village in West Africa. He has the same hopes and dreams as many boys his age. However, he has faced monumental challenges in his short life. His father was attacked and killed in 2013. His mother has remarried and moved away leaving Alassane in the care of extended family. He lives in a house made of mud bricks. There is no electricity or running water. His family are farmers. Their main crop is corn. Food insecurity is a real issue. Sufficient rains mean there will be enough food until the next harvest. The reality is that is not always the case. A bright spot in his life is going to school. This year (2022-2023) he is in fourth grade. Alassane hopes he will be able to stay in school. Families often are not able to pay school fees thus children must abandon their education. Having a sponsor would secure a place in school for Alassane and provide the encouragement and hope he deserves.Child sponsorship donations are $35 a month. This covers school fees, school supplies, basic medical care and a twice- yearly gift of 100 pounds of rice and other necessary items. Your sponsorship would make a world of difference to Alassane and his family.
