Ammdia is a bright and caring young girl living in a humble home with her aunt. Though both of her parents are still alive, Ammdia’s aunt has become a guiding figure in her daily life, especially since none of her parental figures have regular employment. Their family tends a small farm, relying on the food they can grow during the rainy season to sustain them through the year. While their home lacks conveniences like running water or electricity, they are grateful for a well located nearby, which provides the water they need for drinking and cooking.

Now a dedicated 2nd grader (2025-26), Ammdia cherishes her education and dreams of becoming a doctor one day so that she can help others in her community. After school, she enjoys helping her aunt by cleaning dishes or assisting with preparing the evening meal. Despite coming from a Muslim family, Ammdia’s story is one of hope, resilience, and hard work—qualities that shine through in her everyday actions. With support from sponsorship, Ammdia has the opportunity to pursue her dreams and make a lasting impact on those around her while learning of the love and support that can come through Jesus Christ.
