Asmao is a bright 11-year-old (2025) girl with a gentle smile and a resilient heart. Since her father's passing, Asmao has been living with her loving grandmother in a small, humble home. Without electricity or running water, every day brings challenges, but also moments of hope. To fetch water, Asmao and her grandmother walk a kilometer to the nearest well, and her journey to school is just as long. Yet, Asmao's spirits remain high—she loves reading and writing, and dreams of one day becoming a nurse, inspired by a wish to help others in need.
