Daniel has spent his entire life either at Sheltering Wings’ Orphanage or in the loving care of a Christian host family. Little is known about his birth family, but Daniel has found a true home with his host parents, who have been trained by both the government and the church to provide him with the support and affection he needs to thrive. Though their house lacks running water and electricity, his family’s well is about a kilometer away, and Daniel walks to his school, which is just under a kilometer from his home. Despite these challenges, his days are filled with warmth and encouragement.

Daniel’s favorite subject at school is writing, and he dreams of becoming a soldier when he grows up. For now, he enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his friends, finding joy in the simple things in life. The love and guidance he receives from his Christian host family have made a lasting difference, giving him hope and a sense of belonging. Through sponsorship, Daniel can continue to receive the care he deserves and pursue his dreams, all while knowing he is surrounded by people who truly value him.
