Hello, my name is Dimitrie Sourgou. I come from a Catholic family. I was born in 2017. I live with my parents and my four brothers and sisters. I am in the middle of my family. We do not have any running water or electricity in our home and the closest well is about a kilometer away. I walk about two kilometers to get to school each morning. This year (2022-23), I am in the 1st grade. I like school a lot, but learning to read is my favorite! After school, I like to play soccer with my friends. When I’m all grown up, my dream is to become a teacher.
