Dorcas Nassa is a bright and energetic first-grader (2024-25). Despite the challenges she faces, such as walking a kilometer to school every day without the comfort of a bike, Dorcas remains enthusiastic about her education. Her favorite subject is reading, and she eagerly absorbs every story and lesson she can. After school, she enjoys playing marbles with her friends and takes pride in helping her family by washing the dishes.

Living with her parents and sibling, Dorcas's family lacks running water and electricity, making daily life a series of challenges. The nearest well is a kilometer away, and both her parents work tirelessly on their small field to grow food for the family. Despite these hardships, Dorcas dreams of becoming a nurse when she grows up, driven by her passion for helping others. Her Christian faith provides her with strength and hope, guiding her towards a brighter future. With the support of a sponsor, Dorcas could have the opportunity to achieve her dreams and improve her family's living conditions.
