Hello, my name is Elisabeth.  I come from a Protestant family.  I live with my parents and my ten brothers and sisters.  We have a small home that does not have running water.  The closest well is about a kilometer away.  Neither of my parents has a regular job, but they do the best they can to earn a little money and we have a small family farm that we work on during the rainy season to try to grow the food that we will eat throughout the year.  

I walk about a kilometer each way to get to school.  Math class is my favorite! After school, I study my lessons or play marbles with my neighbors. I also have to do my chores which include washing dishes or taking care of our animals. When I’m all grown up, I want to become a nurse!
