Gildas was born in February of 2014. He and his mother were sleeping out on the side of the road. This went on for a long time until someone finally notified the police. Gildas’s mother was questioned and it became apparent that she was not mentally well. With identity of his father or extended family unknown, an investigation will need to be done to locate someone who knows Gildas and his mother. Because it is unsafe for Gildas to be with his mother, he was brought to the Sheltering Wings orphanage for a minimum of two years. He now has a safe place to receive food, medical care and love. Gildas shows signs of poor care. He is developmentally delayed, but is loving, smiles a lot and likes to be held. Sponsorship will help provide care for Gildas while his family situation is worked out.
