Hello, my name is Josias.  I live with my mom, dad, and younger sibling.  We are a Protestant family.  We live in a very large family compound with lots of cousins and grandparents.  It does not have either running water or electricity and the closest well is about two kilometers away!  Neither one of my parents has a job, but we have a small farm where we work during the rainy season to grow the food that we will eat throughout the year.

One of my family members normally takes me to school and then picks me up in the afternoon, too.  It’s about two kilometers each way. After school, I like to help around the house or play soccer with my neighbors or cousins.  When I’m all grown up, I want to become a famous soccer player!
