Hello, my name is Karim Konkobo. I come from a Muslim family. I was born in 2008. I live with my parents and my six siblings in a large, multi-family apartment complex. We do not have any running water or electricity in our home and the closest well is about a kilometer away. We have a small farm where our family tries to grow the food that we will eat throughout the year. This year (2022-23), I am in the 7th grade. I like school a lot. This year has been an adjustment because it is my first year in secondary school, but I really like English class. After school, I like to play soccer with my friends or study my lessons. When I’m all grown up, I want to join the military so that I can help my people.
