Karim Sankara is a bright and determined kindergartener for the 2024-25 school year, living with his loving mother and four siblings. Tragically, Karim's father passed away, leaving his family to manage their small farm. Despite their hardships and the lack of regular employment, Karim's family perseveres by growing their own food during the rainy season, hoping they raise enough to eat throughout the year. Living without running water or electricity, daily life is a challenge, especially since their well is over 2 kilometers away from their home, making water retrieval a daunting task. Yet, Karim's cheerful spirit remains unbroken.

Every day, Karim walks to school, dreaming of becoming a teacher one day. His passion for education is evident as he diligently attends classes, even without the luxury of a bicycle. In his free time, Karim finds joy in playing soccer with his friends, his laughter echoing through the fields.
