Hello, my name is Landry. I come from a Catholic family. I was born on April 6, 2008. I live with my mother. My father died when I was very young. My mother does not have a regular job, but she does work to cultivate the food that we eat throughout the year. I enjoy helping my mother around the house and playing soccer with some of the other kids in the neighborhood. I was born both deaf and mute. This has kept me from going to school in the past. I was told that there is a spot for me in a school in my country's capital, but I need a sponsor to help me afford it. I will need to stay with a host family. I hope to go to school and work hard so that I can become a mechanic when I grow up.
