Latifata Ouedraogo is a bright and ambitious young girl who lives with her parents and three siblings. Born on June 18, 2019, Latifata is now a kindergartener for the 2024-25 school year. Despite the challenges her family faces, including the lack of regular employment and the absence of running water and electricity in their home, Latifata approaches life with a joyful spirit and a determination to succeed. Her parents cultivate a small farm, which provides for their basic needs, and the well, located only 100 meters away, is their primary water source.

Every school day, Latifata walks 3 kilometers to attend her classes, as she does not have a bike. Despite this long journey, she remains dedicated to her education and dreams of becoming a doctor when she grows up. After school, Latifata enjoys playing with marbles, a simple yet delightful pastime that brings her much happiness.
