Lea Bagnogo

Lea was born in 2010 and is the youngest of eight children. She grew up in a small rural village in West Africa where her parents work as subsistence farmers. Their primary crops are millet, corn, and cotton.

Lea struggled in traditional school. She reached the 5th grade, but after failing several times, her father decided to withdraw her from school.

Lea is a wonderful candidate for the Girls Training School. At the residential center, she will learn practical skills such as sewing, weaving, gardening techniques, and animal husbandry. These skills will equip her with a way to support herself and contribute to the well-being of her family.

Lea’s training program lasts two years, and during that time she will live and study at the school.
