Hello, my name is Luc.  I come from a Protestant family.  Even though both of my parents are still alive, I live with my uncle in the city.  We do not have either running water in our home and the closest well is about two kilometers away.  In our village, we have a small family farm that we use to try to grow the food that we will eat throughout the year.

My school is about a kilometer away from my home.  I don’t have a bike, so I walk there with a lot of other kids. English is my favorite subject.  After school, I like to study or do homework.  I also help out around the house and play soccer with my friends.  When I’m all grown up, I want to become a professional soccer player.
