Hello, my name is Miriam. I was born on October 24, 2014. I live with my parents and my little brother in a small home. We don’t have any running water, so we need to go to the well each day to get enough for all of our cooking and cleaning. It isn’t very far from our home. We are a Muslim family. This year (2020-21), I am in first grade at Sheltering Wings’ school. I like going to school because I am learning all kinds of new things. I am even learning how to read!! When we are in recess, I like to play hopscotch with my friends. When I am all grown up, I would like to become a nurse so that I can help people.
