Hello, my name is Nafissatou. I was born in 2015. I live with my parents and my two little brothers. We have a small home that does not have either running water or electricity. The closest well is a little less than half a kilometer away. Neither one of my parents has a regular job, but we have a small field where we will grow the food that we will eat throughout the year. We are a Muslim family. This year (2020-21), I am in first grade. I have been loving all of school, but my favorite subject is reading. I like learning new letters and new words. When I am not in school, I like to jump ropes with all of my friends. When I am all grown up, I want to become a doctor so that I can help other people.
