Meet Oumou Koulsoum Rabo, a spirited 7th grader (2024-25) with a bright future ahead. Born on June 15, 2012, Oumou lives with her uncle, as her parents manage a small farm that provides for their essential needs but does not offer regular employment. Despite the challenges of not having running water at home and the nearest well being a kilometer away, Oumou remains resilient and determined. Each day, she travels on foot to school, covering the same distance, fueled by her love for learning and her favorite subject, English.

Oumou's dream is to become a nurse, inspired by her desire to help others and make a difference in her community. After school, she enjoys playing hide and seek with her friends or diligently studying for her lessons. Her dedication and enthusiasm are truly commendable, especially considering the limited resources available to her.
