P. Ephraim 1953MSWSC18
Hello, my name is Ephraim. I live with my mother, father, siblings, and grandparents. There is no running water or electricity in their courtyard, but the closest well is not too far away from their home. I work hard in the home to help my family. We have a field and we all work together to grow enough food to last us throughout the entire year.I like going to school. Last year, I was number three in my class at the public school. I really wanted to get a Christian education, so I wanted to switch to Sheltering Wings’ school. I walk to school each day. It is more than 2 ½ miles away from where I live. I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know that I want to serve wherever God would have me. I want to do my part to make the world a better place. Ephraim is in danger of not being able to afford to go to school. No one in his family has jobs beyond growing food during the rainy season to last them throughout the year. This can be very hard. If there is too much rain or too little, their crops will not be good and they will need to buy more food, using precious money. Ephraim’s sponsorship would take a huge financial burden from his family. He will receive a free education, a hot meal each day, and access to medical care if he gets sick.
