Pingwende was born in West Africa on November 10, 2011. Although both of his parents are living, his father is elderly and has been retired for some years. His mother works cleaning houses to earn income for the family. Their living conditions are very primitive, and Pingwende is truly a child growing up in poverty. His parents do their very best to provide for their five children, but it is an extreme challenge.

This year, Pingwende is in the 7th grade. He loves going to school and understands the sacrifices his family makes so he can have an education. It would be such a blessing for the entire family if you would agree to sponsor Pingwende. Sponsorship provides his tuition, a uniform, backpack, and school supplies. Twice a year, Pingwende and his family also receive 100 pounds of rice and some soap.
