Ouedraogo Rachidatou is a bright young girl born in 2017, currently attending fifth grade for the 2025-26 school year. Living with her parents in a modest home without running water, Rachidatou faces daily challenges that many take for granted. Her parents work hard tending their small farm, growing enough food to sustain the family throughout the year, though neither has a steady job. Each day, Rachidatou walks three kilometers to school and the same distance back, driven by her love of learning—especially math—and her dream to one day become a nurse.

Despite her family's humble circumstances, Rachidatou's determination shines through. She comes from a Muslim background and helps her family by washing the dishes, showing a spirit of service and responsibility beyond her years. Sponsorship makes a real difference in her life, opening the doors to education, opportunity, and the hope that she can have in Jesus Christ. With support and encouragement, Rachidatou can continue to pursue her dreams and, someday, use her talents to care for others in her community.
