Hello, my name is Rachidatou.  I come from a Muslim family.  I live with my grandmother in a small home that does not have either running water or electricity. My grandmother is a seller in the marketplace, so she has a little stand where she buys and sells things.  We also have a small family farm where we try to grow the food that we eat throughout the year.

I walk to school each morning and evening, but it is not too far, so it’s easy.  History/Geography class is my favorite! After school, I study my lessons. I also have to do some work around the house to help my grandmother out. When I’m all grown up, I want to become a seamstress!
