Hello, my name is Roubiatou. A few years ago, both of my parents died. Now I live with my aunt in a small courtyard. I don’t have any brothers or sisters, but we live with five other people. There is no running water or electricity in our home. We get the water we need for cooking and cleaning out of a well close to our courtyard My school is about 1 and a half kilometers away from my home. I walk there with my friends. We talk and play games on the way. In my class, we have been learning about our colors, numbers, and letters. My teachers show us new games and songs. They also read stories to us. When I am all grown up, I want to become a doctor and help people.
