Sabane Kindo is a bright and determined 10-year-old (2026) boy who lives with his parents and six siblings in a bustling, multi-generational home. Despite not having running water or electricity, Sabane’s family is grateful for the blessing of a well nearby, which provides them with precious, clean water. Each day, Sabane walks the short distance to his school, where he attends the 2nd grade and delights in reading—his favorite subject. After class, he enjoys playing soccer with friends, his laughter echoing through the community as the sun sets.

Though daily life comes with challenges, Sabane’s faith and family keep his spirit strong. He is a very devout Muslim, often joining his father for afternoon and evening prayers. Inspired by his sense of discipline and hope for the future, Sabane dreams of joining the military when he grows up, aspiring to serve and protect his community. With continued support and encouragement, Sabane’s love of learning will help him overcome obstacles and reach his God-given potential.  Through sponsorship, Sabane will learn about the love and the hope that he can find in Jesus.
