Hello, my name is Severin.  Both of my parents are still alive, but they are separated so I just live with my dad and his family.  We have a small home that does not have either running water or electricity, and the closest well is about a kilometer away.  We are a Catholic family.  My father works to try to make our area safer.   

One of my family members normally takes me to school and then picks me up in the afternoon, too.  The trip is about three kilometers each way. After school, I like to help around the house or play soccer with my friends.  When I’m all grown up, I want to become a teacher!
