Sie Romaric was born in West Africa in 2008. Deaf since birth, he has faced many challenges trying to find his place in a predominantly hearing society. His father, who served as a police officer, has passed away, and Sie Romaric now lives with an uncle.

A year ago, hope began to take shape when he was enrolled in a special school where he is learning sewing and developing valuable tailoring skills. His classes include both hearing and non-hearing students. Through sign language, Sie Romaric is able to communicate with his teachers and classmates and is steadily mastering each lesson.
