 Thayler Henrik Torres Born October 1, 2013 (12 years old) Thayler is a 12-year-old student currently in the 7th grade. Following in the footsteps of his older sister Lualana, he attends the Alfredo Parodi State School. Thayler is very active and loves sports, especially soccer and volleyball, and he can often be found riding his bike around the neighborhood. Thayler lives in a wooden house in an informal settlement, where his family navigates a vulnerable social situation. His stepfather works as a supervisor at a local bazaar, and his mother stays home to care for the family. Thayler is the second oldest of four children, with sisters Lualana (13), Maria Yasmim (9), and Eloá (3). He will soon become an older brother again, as his mother is 8 months pregnant. While the family regularly attends the Mormon Church, Thayler is deepening his spiritual journey by learning about the Word of God through his involvement in the project.
