Wendesso is a bright young girl born on July 25, 2013, in West Africa. Like many children growing up in one of the world’s poorest countries, Wendesso and her family face significant challenges, including food insecurity and the constant threat of illnesses such as malaria and typhoid fever.

Eight months ago, Wendesso’s life became even more difficult when her father tragically lost his life in an accident at the gold mine where he worked. His death left her mother responsible for providing for Wendesso and her three younger siblings.

Despite these hardships, Wendesso is determined to continue her education. She is enrolled in school and will begin 6th grade in the 2026–2027 school year. School provides Wendesso with much-needed stability and the opportunity to build a brighter future. However, her mother struggles to find the money needed to pay her school fees, and Wendesso worries that she may not be able to remain in school.

Wendesso prays that she will be blessed with a sponsor who can help make it possible for her to continue her education.
