Hello, my name is Yasmina. I come from a Muslim family. I was born on August 30, 2008. I live with my mom, my dad, and my 5 brothers and sisters. Neither one of my parents has a regular job, but we have a small family farm where we grow our food. Sometimes it is hard to grow enough for the whole year. We have a small home that does not have either running water or electricity. The closest well is about a kilometer away. I ride my bike to get to school. It is about 2 kilometers each way. This year (2021-22), I am in the seventh grade. It has been an adjustment because this is my first year in secondary school. My favorite subject is English. After school, I like to jump ropes with my friends or do my homework. When I am all grown up, I would like to become a doctor.
