Hello, my name is Yasmina.  I come from a Muslim family.  I have three siblings and my parents are both alive, but I live with my uncle.  We live in an apartment complex with a lot of other families.  There is no running water or electricity in our home.  The well is about a kilometer from our home.  No one in my family has a regular job, but we do what we can to earn a little money and we have a small family farm where we try to grow the food that we eat throughout the year.

My favorite subject is Math.  I love learning it because it just makes sense.  After school, I like to jump ropes with my friends.  I also have to do my homework and help out around our house.  When I’m a grown up, I’d like to become a midwife.
