Linda Wilk

I am a missionary called to minister to the people of God in West Africa. After a 42-year career in education, I felt led to begin a new chapter of service, which brought me to join Sheltering Wings in 2013.

Serving alongside Ruth Cox, I work to improve the lives of widows, orphans, and other vulnerable children in several remote villages across West Africa. Our current efforts include child and widow sponsorship programs, church construction, and well drilling. Through both word and deed, we strive to share the gospel of Jesus with all those we are privileged to serve.

The gentle people of West Africa have left an imprint on my heart that can never be washed away. I have been placed in a unique position to walk beside God’s children here, and for that, I feel immensely blessed.
