Born in 2017, her parents are divorced and Bhavani remembers meeting her Father only once.  Her mother would leave her and her younger sister, Bhavya, at home for days at a time and the girls would be left with an older male cousin who abused them. 

Their Mother had been working as a prostitute for several years and when a customer would come, the girls had to sleep outside.  Bhavani said she liked it when the men came because it always meant they would have money to eat the next day.  Because of the situation, the girls were removed from their home and brought to us.

Bhavani and her sister both love singing and coloring pictures.
