Isabelle was born on September 30, 2018, in one of the poorest countries in West Africa. Her life began with great hardship—her father passed away shortly after she was born. She lives with her mother and older sister, and her mother has faced the difficult reality of widowhood at a very young age.

To support her family, Isabelle’s mother weaves traditional fabric. Despite her hard work, this provides only a small income and barely meets their daily needs. Even so, she is determined to give her daughters a chance at a better future and firmly believes that education is the key to opening doors of opportunity.

During the 2025–2026 school year, Isabelle is in the third grade. She loves going to school and understands how important it is to her mother that she studies diligently and does her very best.
