Hello, my name is Minata. I was born in 1955. My husband died 15 years ago from an unknown fever. It did not last very long before he died. I never knew what it was that killed him. We had 6 children together: 2 boys and 4 girls. None of my children have a paying job that can help support me, but we have a small field where we grow the food that we will eat throughout the year. I was able to help in the fields this past rainy season, but we did not have a very good harvest and it will not last us until next year. We have a small surface level well that is not considered clean, but it is what we use. There are no other deep wells in our area. This can make us sick sometimes, but at least we have water to hydrate us. I would ask that you pray for my health and for the health of my children.
