Hello, my name is Paroutoumbo. I was born in 1952. I married young and had six children with my husband. Unfortunately, only three of them survived to adulthood. My husband became sick and died about 27 years ago.
None of my children has a career, but we all work together on our small farm. We do the best that we can, but it is hard to get enough for our large family. It is becoming more difficult for me to help in the fields, but I don’t know what else to do to survive.
